The 'multicore' Package

Description

Package multicore was superseded by parallel in 2011. This is a transitional stub which will be removed during 2014.

Most of the objects previously provided by multicore have been imported here from parallel or tools and exported.

Objects SIGALARM, SIGINFO, readChild, readChildren, selectChildren, sendChildStdin and sendMaster are no longer available.
