TkXinput - Version 1.0 - 8/11/99

This package contains Xi, a library that adds Xinput
management capabilities to the Tk toolkit.

It also contains an utility named calibrate that
can be used to test various aspects of the Xinput
configuration of an X server. If can also be used
as its name implies as a touchscreen calibration
facility. Finally this script serves as an example
of the use of some of Xi's capabilities.

Some of the features in Xi and/or calibrate may be
only useful on Xfree86 servers.

This software has been tested on Linux, XFree86, Tcl/Tk 8.0.
It is very likely that it works on other configurations too
but I can't test it. Any positive (or negative) experiences
are appreciated.

To install:

It should be as simple as 'make install'. However the default
configuration requires root privileges the target directory being
/usr/lib/TkXinput. This can be changed by a
make install DESTDIR=whatever' to install in whatever/lib/TkXinput.
If should be noted that in any case the xi?.?.so library must be
in the paths known to ld.so.

To use:

See README.xi or README.calibrate depending on your needs.
