createAdminConnection

Creates a new LdapNetworkConnection and authenticates as admin user. The caller is responsible for closing the connection, use closeConnection().

Parameters:

ldapServer - the LDAP server instance, used to obtain the port used

Returns:

the created connection

Throws:

org.apache.directory.api.ldap.model.exception.LdapException - the LDAP exception

IOException - Signals that an I/O exception has occurred.

closeConnection

public static void closeConnection(org.apache.directory.ldap.client.api.LdapNetworkConnection conn)
                            throws org.apache.directory.api.ldap.model.exception.LdapException,
                                   IOException

Closes the LdapNetworkConnection.

Parameters:

conn - the connection to close

getPooledAdminConnection

Gets the pooled LdapConnectionPool, authenticated as admin user. The caller is reponsible for releasing the connection, use releasePooledConnection().

Returns:

the pooled admin connection

Throws:

Exception - the exception

releasePooledAdminConnection

Releases a pooled connection back to the pool.

conn - the connection to release
