EDA software suite for creation of schematic diagrams and PCBs

KiCad is an EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software suite for designing
electronic schematic diagrams and printed circuit board artwork up to 16 layers.
The suite includes: KiCad (project manager), Eeschema (schematic editor),
Pcbnew (PCB layout editor), Cvpcb (footprint selector), and Gerbview
(Gerber file viewer).
KiCad has an active community and a large library of components and footprints.
